A typical Italian menu is somewhat different from ours. In large tourist cities, you can eat in a restaurant almost at any time. However, if you are away from the city center or vacationing in a small town, then you will have to adjust to the local meal times:
Lunch - approximately from 12.00 to 14.00,
Dinner - approximately from 20.00 to 23.00.
Italian restaurant menu:
Pizzadoes not apply to the first dish, and does not even apply to the second. The pizza itself.
Antipasti- Snacks.
Primi- First meal.
Secondi- Second courses.
Contorni- Side dishes.
Dolci- Dessert.

It is not necessary to order dishes from all sections of the menu.
A menu with alcoholic drinks is served separately - Carta dei vini.
