Alberobello - the city of TALE
Alberobello (Italy), located in the province of Bari, is a real discovery for Europeans who have never seen anything like it. Original buildings that form whole streets give the settlement a uniqueness. Dwellings similar to fabulous houses, which are called trulli, are located in two districts of the city. Trullo in Russian means dome. It is thanks to their unusual shape that the trulli got its name. In such unusual buildings, the walls of which are entwined with ivy or vines, there are local restaurants, workshops, shops and even temples. In many houses there are souvenir shops and bars where you can taste aromatic wines. The buildings are under the protection of UNESCO, which recognized the trulli as part of the historical heritage.
